Background and aims. Adding further fillers to dental resins may enhance their physical characteristics. The aim of this study was to evaluate the flexural strength, fracture toughness, and hardness of heat-curing acrylic resin reinforced by zirconium oxide (ZrO2), Titanium dioxide (TiO2) and silicone dioxide(SiO2)nanoparticles added into the resin matrix with two concentration(0.5% and 1%).Materials and methods:ZrO2, TiO2 and SiO2nanoparticles powders with concentrations of 0.5% and 1%were incorporated into heat-cure acrylic resin (PMMA) and processed according to fabricate test specimens of PMMA. The dimensions of test specimens for flexural strength and fracture toughness were (65 mm length x 10 mm width x 2.5 mm thickness) and(30 mm length x 10 mm width x 2.5 mm thickness) were fabricated for measuring hardness.PMMA specimens without additives were prepared as a test control. Three types of mechanical tests; flexuralstrength, fracture toughness and hardness were carried out on the samples. The recorded valuesof flexural strength in (MPa), fracture toughness in (MPa.m1/2), and hardness (VHN) were collected, tabulated and statistically analyzed. One way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey\
ABSTRACT\n\nPurpose:Enhancing the comfort of the patient by shortening the length of hospital stay and wound recovery period is aimed after the colorectal surgery by decreasing the post ileostomy closure infections which is applied for fecal diversion.\n\nMaterial and Method:Patients to whom ileostomy closure is applied in Necmettin Erbakan University Meram Medical Faculty Hospital are evaluated retrospectively. Ileostomy closure cases held in our clinic in last 2 years are included in the research. Cases are divided into two groups: closing the skin by putting negative pressure suction drain (NPSD - SC) between skin and fascia, and closing it by applying purse-string (PS) without drain. Between the groups; wound site infections, length of hospital stays, and wound site recovery periods are compared. Datas are analysed statistically.\n\nFindings:In the research it was fixated that in cases where wound closure is ensured by negative pressure suction drains the ratio of infection is lower, and wound site recovery periods and length of hospital stays are shorter.\n\nConclusion:Applying negative pressure suction drain to the subcutaneous distance which is between the fascia and skin in the patients to whom ileostomy closure is carried out decreases the wound site infections, wound site recovery periods, and length of hospital stays.
The purpose of the presented work is to study impact of some essential oil plants( using in the folk medicine for treat of various diseases)- A. vulgare Gaertn, A. graveolens L, O. gratissimum L, M. piperita L. and Th. Serpyllum to the growth of some toxsigen fungi as As.niger, As.ochraceus, As. fumigatus, P. cyclopium and C.herbarum. In the studies, was found that essential oil of plant Th. serpyllum has a strong fungicide properties and it completely stops the growth of all toxigenic fungi which were used in research.
Mycocomplex of 6 distributed and planted sorts of legumes grown in Azerbaijan conditions rhizosphere and phyllosphere frequencies had been studied. It was determined that 48 types of fungus investigated are playing role at formation of leguminous crops mycocomplex such as Botrytis pyramidalis (Bonord.) Sacca. Circinella Hesselt linderi. & Fennell, Cladosporium Epiphyllum (Pers.) Nees, Fusarium subglutinans (Wollenw. & Reinking) PE Lendn dimorphosporus Nelson and Mucor. Which are the species detected in Azerbaijan\'s nature for the first time. In addition to that, it became clear that there is a specific behavior detected at legumes’ mycocomplex formation that is involved similarly in combination of toxins, allergens and opportunists.
Background: Balance problems and risk of falling are among the major health problems that encountered by the elderly people. This is associated with increasing incidence of injury and disability; accordingly the medical expenditures will increase. Purpose: the purpose of the study was to investigate if the lumbar belt has an effect on the balance and risk of falling in this population. Methods: Thirty volunteers old aged male participated in this study with age ranges from 60-80years. Data were be collected using PROKIN System (PK252) PKB-MANSW-06-EN and Falls Efficacy Scale-International (FES-I) questionnaire. The measured parameters using the PROKIN system were the ellipse area and the forth-back deviation. Results: the results revealed that, there was significant decrease in the forth-back deviation when the subject wore the belt. The ellipse area showed non-significant decrease while using the belt. FES-I score showed significant decrease by using the belt. Conclusion: We can conclude that wearing the lumbar belt improve balance and fear of fall in elderly people by increasing the postural control.
The results of research is different combinations varieties-grafting. It was determined that all varieties shows high profitability on different grafting. Also, identified a significant impact of the grafting both to the morphometric parameters, to the productivity and economic productivity of varieties. Varieties on the generative rootstock having a relatively large area of crown projection (11.3 m2), respectively, reduce the productivity of the crown to 3.63 kg / m2, against of, having the smaller area of the crown projection (2.43 ... 7.96 m2) and accordingly high productivity (11.70 ... 5.40 kg / m2) on the clonal grafting as M9 and MM106. Relatively less crown volume creates conditions for reducing the area of supply trees, thereby increase the number of trees per unit area and, accordingly, an increase the agrecultural harvest per hectare. This helps to increase the level of net income of varieties on clonal grafting. They have a net income of 3622.97 .... 16335.91 AZN is more than in the varieties of generative rootstock (3029.57 AZN). Accordingly, indicators of agrcultural produoctivity, in varieties on clonal grafting, vastly more (correspondingly 598.92 ... 352.56 center / ha) than in the varieties on the generative rootstock (247.87 center / ha).\nAt the same time, high and high quality productivity of varieties on clonal grafting contributes to the increase in net income and, together with them, the profitability of production. It should be noted that, the profitability of farming in gardens on generative grafting is 100.06%, then this indicator in apple gardens, on clonal grafting is much higher and amounts of 147.54% on MM106 and 381.14% on M9.
Abstract:\nOne of the most important features of Iranian pattern making tradition is using symbolic elements. By studying these patterns in every branch of art, the desired art and its relationship with religious, social, political, and belief-based relationships are more recognized. Astronomy and astronomical instruments in the post-Islamic period became one of the most important scientific phenomena due to the different necessities and needs in the Muslims\
Modern era has improvised classification of web page according to the drastic growth of web applications , recent methods has proved its improvement in extraction of web information in terms of different mining technologies. But still the classification of feature based approaches are under development, the recent approaches has some pit falls in Large-scale Knowledge Representation, text mining and query classification . To overcome such demerits of the system this paper proposes an approach using novel ontology based features and genetic algorithms. The results are compared with the QOS metrics and found that our proposed approach provides a significant improvement in the model.
