We examined the influence of burnout on life satisfaction level of employees. Data were obtained from 350 employees in different industry sectors. In order to determine the impact of burnout on life satisfaction level, regression analysis was carried. According to the results, emotional exhaustion and personal accomplishment were found as the factors that explain life satisfaction. Recommendations are presented to researchers and suggestions for future research are discussed.

Based on aggregation techniques associated with the forced arrow form matrix, to derive the\nstability property of dynamic discrete-time complex systems, a new strategy of control is formulated for\nchaos synchronization of two identical 3D Hénon maps. The designed state feedback controller ensures\nthat the state variables of both controlled hyperchaotic slave system globally synchronize with the state\nvariables of the hyperchaotic master system. Numerical simulations are carried out to assess the\nperformance as well as the high level security of the proposed contributions in the important field of\nsecure communication through hyperchaotic synchronization phenomenon.

Usability evaluation methods have gained a substantial attention in networks particularly in Intrusion Detection System (IDS) as these evaluation methods are envisioned to achieve usability and define usability defects for a large number of practical software’s. Despite a good number of available survey and methods on usability evaluation, we feel that there is a gap in existing literature in terms of usability evaluation methods, IDS interfaces and following usability guidelines in IDS development. This paper reviews the state of the art for improving usability of networks that illustrates the issues and challenges in the context of design matters. Further, we propose the taxonomy of key issues in evaluation methods and usability problems. We also define design heuristics for IDS users and interfaces that improves detection of usability defects and interface usability compared to conventional evaluation heuristics. The similarities and differences of usability evaluation methods and usability problems are summarized on the basis of usability factors, current evaluation methods and interfaces loopholes.

Abstract: Electronic spams are the most troublesome internet phenomenon challenging large global companies including AOL, Google, Yahoo and Microsoft. Spam causes various problems some of which, in turn, cause economic losses. To be precise, spams cause traffic problems and bottlenecks whereby limit memory space and computing power and speed. Spams make users spend lots of time on removing them. Various methods have been developed to filter spams including black list, white list, Bayesian classification algorithm, keyword matching, header information processing, investigation of spam-sending factor and investigation of received mails. The present study describes three machine-learning algorithms to filter spams for accurate distinction of spams fromvalid emails with low error and high efficiency by an efficient method using multilayer perceptron model. Some widely used techniques include C4.5 decision tree classifier, multilayer perceptron and Naïve Bayes classifier all of which are used for training data whether in the form of spam or valid emails. Finally, the results are discussed and outputs of considered techniques are examined on the proposed model.

In this communication, a low-cost circularly polarized wire antenna exhibiting improved gain performance for Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC), vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communications is presented. The proposed antenna comprises a Y-shaped quarter-wavelength monopole radiator surrounded by two iterations of eight conductive arched walls acting as parasitic elements to enhance the overall antenna gain and to shape the radiation pattern in the H-plane. A hemispherical radome shell is added to protect the antenna structure and its effect on the antenna performance is discussed. The designed antenna demonstrates antenna gain of 8.2 dB with omnidirectional far-field radiation pattern in the H-plane. The gain of the proposed antenna is also compared with the characteristic of the stand-alone Y-shaped monopole to highlight the advantages of the proposed approach.
