MANET comes under the wireless network in which each node can transfer data to\nanother without using any base station. It has wide applications in communication of data.\nMANET is defined as self-configuring ad hoc network model of mobile nodes and each node\nknows about adjacent nodes and conveys information to those nodes. In network layer\nprotocols routing helps in finding the best route between source and destination. Performance\nof MANET network is evaluated based on different Quality of service parameter like routing\noverhead, end to end average delay, packet delivery ratio and also the loss of packet under\nvarious network circumstances like speed of mobility. In MANET, there are many research\nissues as loss of packets problem owing to transmission fault, broken links, and no route to\nthe destination. In this Project implementation of different routing protocol of MANET on\nNs-3 simulator and analysis the performance of quality of services issues in terms of\nperformance parameters like Packet receiving rate per Second.
The study of the solid matrix of the human knee joint meniscus using scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) techniques, will identify the anatomical physiological constituent elements of it. The basic elements of analysis are: the orientation of collagen fibers at different depths of the thickness of the meniscus, the physiological relationship between collagen and proteoglycan during the compression of the meniscus, the cells of the meniscus of the knee, channels of diffusion of nutrients in avascular areas of meniscal tissue, the tensions to which these joints are subjected in the mechanics of locomotion
Polyphenolic curcumin, the most active rhizomal component of Curcuma longa L. (commonly known as turmeric), has been studied for many years because of its biofunctional properties, especially antioxidant, radical scavenger, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activities. Several experiments and pharmacological trials have demonstrated its effectiveness as an anti-inflammatory agent in vitro, in vivo and in clinical trials. The existing evidences support the view that curcumin can play a very important role in cancer therapy and inhibit the proliferation of many types of cancer cells. Since the process of inflammation has been shown to play a major role in most chronic illnesses, including neoplastic diseases, the antiinflammatory effects of curcumin had taken attention to be tested in inflammation related diseases especially in cancer. Furthermore, curcumin exhibits promise as a therapeutic agent, and is currently used in clinical trials for a type of conditions, including multiple myeloma, prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, colon cancer, psoriasis and Alzheimer’s disease. The curcumin therapy has been shown to prove beneficial effects on different cancer types but efficacy in human needs to be investigated further.\nThis study focuses on the last five years of the existing literature on finalized clinical trials related to the effect of curcumin in different types of cancers, such as chronic myeloid leukemia, multiple myeloma, prostate, colorectal and pancreatic cancer in addition to oral mucositis and radiation dermatitis that commonly occur during conventional antineoplastic therapies.
Mobbing is the act of systematical and continuous psychological intimidation confronted in social life, educational institutes and working life. A lot of individual might have come across such events as mobbing victim, witness or mobber. People have to work in order to maintain their lives and improve their quality of life. Individual’s promoting in working life or keeping his/her position depends on reaching specified performance criteria. There have been observed that not only various health problems but also decreases in performances of workers who are exposed to mobbing in workplace.\nIn this study the workers who feel under psychological pressure and their performance levels were analyzed. For this purpose, 2 different surveys were performed and applied in 10 marble factories in order to determine level of psychological stress that workers are exposed and their performance levels. Then, statistical relationship between psychological pressure and performance was calculated by matching data \nConsequently, in 9 of 10 plants studied on, it was seen that there was a negative linear relationship between psychological pressure and performance (R2=0.44-0.91; CI: 95%), similarly performance of individuals who feel as mobbing victim decreased (R2=0.75; CI: 95%).
The article deals with the principles of reaction of shipowners’ structures on the set of changes of maritime trade market’s parameters. There are features of decision-making in an uncertain variability of the maritime trade market. Thus there are subsystems clearly realizing strategies of priorities and subsystems that choose the form of reaction to changes in the conditions of limited resources in the structure of the global maritime transport industry. The balance, as the most effective condition of any market, plays a special role in maritime transport due to the high cost of the fleet deadweight and the intensity of the crews’ work. Therefore, the clarity and timeliness of response to external changes in traffic flows and carrying capacity of competing shipping companies becomes paramount.
Objective: This study is done with the aim of analysing the factors which affect pain and anxiety, depression of the cases whose bone marrow aspiration and biopsy are done and the relations between them prospectively. \nMaterials and methods: The samples of the study consist of 90 patients who consulted to Department of Haematology, Faculty of Medicine, Uludag University and are followed up there for bone marrow aspiration and biopsy indication. The data has been gathered by using personal information form, Hospital Anxiety Depression (HAD-S) scale and Wong-Baker face pain scale where generally face expressions exist. \nResults: The average age of the patients who attended to the study is 50.90 (16.59), pain level after the application is 1.98 (1.33). After the application, a positive relationship is determined between the pain level and anxiety (r= -0.79; p= 0.02) while this relationship is in a negative way with age (r= 0.78; p= 0.03). \nConclusion: As a result, pain develops depending on bone marrow aspiration and biopsy; for this reason, taking precautions aimed at alleviating pain and the evaluation of pain before and after the application within the scope of total maintenance have been suggested.
The issue of postabortion syndrome is often underestimated in some ways and quite taboo in society. The research project is focused on the incidence of adverse emotional effects of abortion and includes negative impacts on the lives of women. Collected data obtained by twelve interviews were processed according to the methodology of qualitative research by content analysis. The results of the research investigation showed that the experience of abortion could indeed affect the emotional and psychic life of women so much so that in many cases there is a need for professional psychological and psychiatric help. In every single interview carried out there were at least two symptoms or symptoms that respondents attributed to subjective experience of abortion. In terms of quantity the most-represented were remorse, sadness, feelings of emptiness and problems of sleep.
