Light is of great importance to man, animals and plant, as the growth of plants upon which man depends cannot be accomplished without light. The effect of different frequencies of the visible light in the electromagnetic spectrum on snails (Archachatina Marginata) was investigated. The analysis involves both the volume (size) and weight changes for a period of 16 weeks. The dark condition yielded the maximum size gain, followed by the yellow light. The blue light on the other hand produces the highest weight gain, followed by the dark condition. Yellow light recorded weight loss on the snails. We observed that natural daylight inhibits snails’ growth rate. Poor correlation between snails’ size and weight gain (C = 0.071) suggests that weight gain in snails is not necessarily a function of size. Our results compares well with previous observations that snails grow faster under dark condition. We proposed that more of these studies be initiated over a longer experimental observation period for enhanced and sustainable agricultural productivity.

This research aims to analyze effects of fathers’ participation situations in family activities who have pre-school period children on children’s inward and outward oriented, antisocial and self-centered behavioral problems. The sampling of research consists of 533 children who continue on their education in Central District of Ankara Province, 48-60 month and above children and their fathers. In the research carried out descriptive way by using screening model, “General Information Form” and “Problem Behavior Scale” were used as data collecting tool. As consequence of the research, it is determined that fathers’ participation situations in family participation activities create significant difference on environments related to children’s outward oriented and antisocial behaviors scores

In this study with utilized CLO model, was investigated the climate comfort in Isfahan province and localizing it for tourists. Thus, the data was collected from 22 synoptic stations, inside and around this province. The results revealed that in Isfahan province, for January, two climate ranges with very cold and cold weather clothing, in December and February, three climate ranges including very cold, cold, and comfortable/light clothing, for March, October and November, two climate ranges with cold weather and comfortable clothing, in April, three climate ranges including cold weather, comfortable, and summer clothing, for May, two climate ranges with comfortable and summer clothing, and in June, July, August, and September three climate ranges including comfortable, summer, and tropical clothing were required in order to achieve climate comfort for tourists. Very cold weather clothing includes long underwear, coat, thick pants, gloves, woolen socks, winter scarf, and hat for women; and long underwear, thick suit, coat, gloves, woolen socks, winter scarf, and hat are used for men. Cold weather clothing also covers long cotton underwear, dress, pants, head scarf or winter scarf, sweatshirt, jacket, and thick socks for women; and long cotton underwear, suit, overcoat, hat, and thick socks are men’s clothing. Comfortable clothing contains dress, pants, head scarf or scarf, shoes, and socks for women; for men, shirt, t-shirt, pants, shoes, and socks. Summer clothing for women is cotton dress, long cotton pants, and cotton headscarf or scarf and summer shoes; for men, we suggest cotton shirt or t-shirt, long cotton shirt, and summer shoes. Tropical clothing includes linen dress, light long pants, cotton headscarf or scarf, and sandals for women; this type of clothing for men contains short-sleeved cotton shirt, light long pants, and sandals. These clothing articles were offered to tourists in Isfahan province according to the national culture in Iran to achieve climate comfort.
