In this work, modelling of eddy-current pattern in metallic parts which suffer from the presence of flaws was considered. This was undertaken by means of finite element method under harmonic inductive excitation and stationary conditions. The proposed model included the excitation coil, the sensing coil, the tested defected plate and the ambient air. A parametric study was conducted then in order to determine the relative influence of the distance separating the coil sensor from the inspected plate, the voltage variation points on the receiver coil and the work frequency.

Cancer is a term used to describe a number of severe diseases where multi-factors are involved. Cancer, which is a term derived from the Latin word “Crab” as the disease grab on and do not let go, dates back to about 3000 BC. Nutrition is the function of food intake and usage of necessary food elements for growth, development, reproduction, tissue renewal and energy processing. Cancer is one of the most dreadful diseases of the 21st century and one in every five people come across cancer at some point of their life’s. Studies have shown that almost 90% of the cancers are associated with the life style and environmental factors. Among these factors, diet is one of the most important one. It is estimated that dietary factors contribute to 35% of all cancers without taking environmental factors into account and to 75% when environmental factors are taken into account. Nutrition is one of the most important reasons of cancer. We aimed to show a comprehensive and updated overview to the cancer- preventive nutrition.

Background. Despite technologic developments, the exact etiology of Raynaud syndrome is still not known. Sympathetic activation, local paracrine mechanisms, and endothelial vasoactive systems are described as possible etiologic factors. We aimed to analyze the possible effects of unilateral sympathetic stimulation on the contralateral extremity.\nMaterial and methods. Rewarming time above 15 min in a cold stimulation test was the only inclusion criterion. The cold stimulation test was performed in all patients. Hand temperatures (test extremity and contralateral extremity) were measured with only 1-hand cooling (test extremity). Radial arterial blood flow was measured in both extremities.\nResults. 64 patients (56 male, 8 female) enrolled to the study. There was no significant difference between test and contralateral extremity fingertip temperatures and arterial blood flow at initial measurements (p>0.05). With 1-hand cold stimulation, we observed significant changes in fingertip temperature and blood flow at both extremities (p<0,001). However there were significant differences between the temperatures of the extremities at 5, 10, 15, and 20 min (p<0,001). Similar to hand temperatures, blood flow parameters were higher in the contralateral extremity than test extremity at 5, 10, and 15 min (p<0,001). Moreover, rewarming time to initial temperature was significantly higher in the test extremity than in the contralateral extremity (p<0,001). \nConclusion. Our results show that unilateral cold stimulation has similar effects on contralateral extremity. This effect predominantly depends on central mechanisms, which is one of the most important pathogenic factor of this disorder, and it should be considered on the treatment plan.

Background: Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) is the important tumor marker for clinical diagnosis of the presence or recurrence of cancer. Colon cancer is relatively common; however, the results of treatment have marginally improved over the last half century. Though about 85% of patients have colorectal tumors resected with curative intent, a significant number of these patients will eventually die from cancer. As a result, many clinicians have advocated intensive follow-up in such patients as an attempt to increase survival. Objective: The present study aimed to measure biochemical parameters and Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) tumor marker among colon cancer patient before and after adjuvant therapy (surgical, chemotherapy or radiation). Material and Methods: A cross- sectional descriptive study was carried out among 300 patients with colon cancer at King Abdulaziz University Teaching Hospital , 130 (43.3%) females and 170 (56.7%) males were conducted. The mean age for both women and men was 51.96 ± 1.02 years (range 21-80 years). Measurement of biochemical parameters and CEA levels at diagnosis, radiological findings and methods of treatment had been offered for all participants. Serum albumin before and after treatment for all colon cancer patients was below reference value. Results: Results showed significant difference between before and after treatment (P< 0.05) in albumin level, hemoglobin, platelet count, urea and potassium. For female: levels of platelet count before and after treatment showed high significant difference (P< 0.05). Regarding hematocrit and albumin, results showed significant difference (P< 0.05). The difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05) for parameter of CEA, white blood cells, and red blood cells , hemoglobin, Urea, potassium, sodium & Creatinine before and after treatment. Conclusion: Measurements of CEA tumor marker response to treatment may help specialists to assess the therapeutic situation of patients with colon cancer.

Objective: Central venous lines are vital for patients with malignancies. Thrombosis of these lines is frequent and causes cessation of therapy. Occlusion of bilateral internal jugular and subclavian veins may cause superior vena cava syndrome and makes impossible to use upper route. We present an alternative way of mid-thigh femoral vein cannulation to provide mobilization, continuation of therapy besides prevention from infection.\nMaterials and Methods: We observed 12 cases of superior vena cava syndrome in patients with malignancies. We inserted central lines under ultrasound guidance from the mid-thigh part of femoral vein in order to keep patient mobile, besides prevention from infection, and catheter fracture. Distal tip of catheter was positioned in diaphragmatic part of inferior vena cava. We observed and recorded patients for adverse events such as infection, thrombosis and improvement of their symptoms related with superior vena cava syndrome, their ability to walk, and catheter usage times.\nResults: Mean age of patients was 41.1±11.9 years. We observed no hematoma at insertion site, no catheter related and puncture site infection and no deep vein thrombosis and stenosis. Symptoms of superior vena cava syndrome improved in a two-week period and totally disappeared in 1 month. All patients were able to walk with their catheter. Mean catheter usage time was 134.6±64.9 days. \nConclusion: Femoral vein cannulation form mid-thigh level is a safe and effective site. This access site provides not only mobilization but also prevents cannulation site infection and catheter fracture and also provide longer time catheter usage time as well.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of organizational commitment on job burnout of employees and the effect of organizational culture and organizational commitment on job burnout among staff of Islamic Azad University of Khomeini Shahr. The method used in this survey and the required data using validated Maslesh questionnaires among the 140 employees is executed in the Islamic Azad University in 2014-2015 exploratory factor analysis and Cronbach test for the validity of the test is used for the organization of the first 30 people were executed, it is a factor of 0.7. Sampling in the survey sample is available. Statistical analysis was performed using Spss and Amos software. In multiple regression analysis and correlation and one way ANOVA was used. The results of assumptions test showed that the greatest impact on job burnout, respectively, organizational commitment, and organizational culture.

This study proposes a new mechanism for correcting errors in video streaming over heterogeneous networks. This mechanism is called the developed forward error correction (DFEC) mechanism and is adapted from the FEC and layer description coding mechanisms. It encodes the original video into the base and enhanced layers and provides a different precedence to each packet based on that packet’s importance. The number of extra FEC packets and their size depend on the number of waited data and the delay. Simulation results show that this algorithm can improve the quality of the received video by increasing the peak signal-to-noise ratio, throughput, and packet delivery ratio and by decreasing the end-to-end delay.

Abstract: The mobile ad-hoc network has become one of the most important networks because of its easy construction, which does not require any pre-fixed infrastructure. However, clustering is difficult to apply in this type of network because of the dynamic network topology, which complicates cluster formation, maintenance, and route discovery. Therefore, the current study suggests a new cluster-based formation routing algorithm, which is used in a new proposed routing protocol namely, the new cluster routing protocol (NCRP), which is proposed a new algorithm for cluster formation, it also uses a new, modified algorithm to calculate the scale of nodes. This scale selects a cluster head according to many parameters, such as the storage capacity, load distribution, accumulative time, available power, number of neighboring nodes, the movement of each node, and the distance among nodes. Results confirm that the proposed algorithm can reduce end-to-end delay, the number of dropped packets, and normalized control overhead. Furthermore, the throughput and the packet delivery ratio are increased, as reflected significantly in the routing protocol.

This study aimed at investigating secularization among the students of Shiraz University. To do so, survey technique was adopted. Consequently, data were collected using questionnaire and interview. The size of the sample of the study (N=371) was computed through Cochran’s Formula. To analyze the data, SPSS was used. The framework of the study was based upon Berger’s theory. The results of the study revealed that most of students’ scores in secularization were 67% (on average and above). The lowest level of secularization among students was 34 and the highest level found to be 92. There was a significant relationship between gender and secularization. That is to say, men tended towards secularization more than women. Also, a significant relationship was found between the number of years of studying at the university and tendency towards secularization. The more they studied at the university, the more they tended towards secularization. No significant relationship was found between ethnicity or place of residence- whether in the city or in the village- and tendency towards secularization.

Object\nAs the Korean economy has shifted from manufacturing to the service industry, centered on employment and production, more women are participating in the labor force. However, not much discussion has been made on health and safety of female workers. The research, therefore, aims to discuss on occupational safety and health issues for female workers. \nMaterial and Method\nOccupational accident data was used to compare and analyze occupational accident rate of women and men, thus to identify problems. Working conditions survey conducted in 2014 was also utilized in order to discuss female workers’ vulnerability with respect to safety and health. \nResult \nIt has been shown that occupational accident occurs less frequently among female workers than male counterparts after conducting comparative analysis by categorizing the accident into type of industry and work. Meanwhile, analysis of safety and health for female workers based on the occupational conditions survey showed the rate of mental and musculoskeletal diseases is higher among women than men. \nDiscussion \nOccupational accident standard was formed during the process of industrialization, mainly reflecting occurrence of accident occurred at male-dominated work. Meanwhile, the coverage scope of occupational accident compensation insurance for mental and musculoskeletal diseases that women and are especially vulnerable to should be extended while preventive programs need to be implanted.

Hydrazine is a promising fuel for portable fuel cells because it has a high energy density, it is carbon free and it is a liquid. In this paper Ni/ γ-Al2O3 have been synthesized with different loadings for use in the producing of H2 via catalytic decomposition of hydrazine. Synthesized catalysts were characterized by ICP, XRD, TEM, TPR and BET analysis. Evaluation of the catalysts was conducted in a fixed-bed continuous-flow reactor.\nThese catalysts could catalyze the decomposition of hydrazine to form H2 and N2. Ni/ γ-Al2O3 catalyst was also able to produce hydrogen with high selectivity under rather mild conditions.

Iran is located in an area with high earthquake risk in worldwide ,there are over 20 active faults with length of 500 km and also densely populated parts of the country has changed it vulnerable to a strong earthquake. However, locating eight faults of the main faults of Iran, along with at least 18 faults with lengths of more than 100 km in Kerman province has converted it into one of the riskiest areas. For this reason, this research tries to spatial distribution of absorbing centers in Kerman population compared to the high risk of seismic zones of the city. The results show that the total population of absorbing centers in Kerman 22.2% of the training centers, 34.5% of health care centers, 22.2 % administrative centers, 14% of business centers and 18.9 % of sports centers are located across the threat of severe and very severe degradation. In other words, among 973 absorbing centers of population, 190 centers in Kerman in zones with high and very high damage and 206 centers in an area with moderate damage are located; this means that among total centers of absorbing centers of, 396 centers are located in zones with moderate to high risk. Given the importance of these centers as well as aggregation of population in these centers in urban spatial structure and prediction of approaches such as resisting, retrofitting of public education and crisis management reduce losses in the event of a seismic event that seems very likely.

In this paper, we describe a novel approach that can classify a human action behavior by applying both a multidimensional functional data analysis (MFDA) approach and the mathematical properties of the Cartesian product of reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces (CPRKHSs). The main idea is to represent the human action video dataset into a multidimensional functional data framework, and then apply the mathematical properties of CPRKHS to analysis these datasets. First, we extract the multidimensional feature vectors that can properly describe the shape of the human action from each frame image of a given video. Here, a set of extracted feature vectors can be expressed as a multidimensional functional data format depending on an order of time. But, since a multidimensional functional data belongs to the non-linear manifold, we embed a multidimensional functional data into the CPRKHS by using the idea of kernel methods. Then, we have shown that the geodesic distance between two feature vectors representing human actions on manifold can be approximate with the Hilbert norm for a difference between two multidimensional functional datasets in CPRKHS. Moreover, we have applied a common classification rule such as the k-NN method based on these distances in order to classify a human action. Finally, we have conducted the experiments to assess a performance of the proposed method using public dataset, namely KTH human action dataset. Experimental results showed that the proposed method generally exhibited a good performance as compared to conventional methods.
